You will need:

6 Hostess Pink Snoballs Snack Cakes
Black frosting (you can use your favorite buttercream recipe)
Mini heart and oval cutters
Pink fondant
Fondant rolling pin
Toothpick
#1 piping tip and piping bag
Directions for Snack Cake Pigs
1. Roll out the pink fondant with a fondant rolling pin. Using the mini cutters, cut 12 small oval shapes for the snouts and 24 tiny hearts for the ears.

2. Use a toothpick to poke two small holes in each oval to create nostrils for the snouts.

3. Prepare the frosting. Reserve a small amount of white frosting if you prefer to use it for attaching fondant features. Tint the remaining frosting black for the eyes. Spoon the black frosting into a piping bag fitted with a #1 tip and pipe two small dots on each snack cake to make the eyes.

4. Attach the fondant ears and snouts to each snack cake using a dab of frosting. If you reserved white frosting, it works well for a clean attachment; otherwise the black frosting will hold them in place.

5. Optionally, shape a small curly tail from a bit of fondant and press it gently onto the back or side of each cake. Little details like this make the piggies even more charming.

These sweet snowball piggies are a quick, crowd-pleasing treat. The chocolate cupcake center with vanilla cream, marshmallow coating and coconut creates a lovely texture and the pink color is perfect for pig-themed desserts. They’re faster and easier than baking cupcakes and would also look delightful arranged on top of a round chocolate cake as a playful garnish.
