Grilled Vegetable Skewers: Flavorful Gluten-Free Summer Recipe

Grilling season is here, and while a juicy burger is always welcome, vegetables on the grill are truly special. If you want to add more veggies to your meals or encourage picky eaters to try them, grilling enhances their natural sweetness and adds a smoky depth. These gluten-free grilled vegetable skewers are a great example of how simple ingredients can shine.

For this recipe, a flavorful basting sauce combines tamari (a gluten-free soy alternative), honey, sesame oil, garlic, and fresh ginger. I used yellow squash, zucchini, button mushrooms, colorful bell peppers, red onion, and cherry tomatoes, but feel free to swap or omit vegetables according to preference—just keep the pieces about the same size so they cook evenly.

Below you’ll find the full recipe, clear instructions, and nutrition information to help you plan your next cookout.
