3-Ingredient Cranberry Relish Recipe for Holiday Tables

This 3-ingredient, 5-minute cranberry relish is the quiet star of our Thanksgiving table every year.

It beats canned cranberry sauce (which I admit has nostalgic appeal) and is much easier than cooking cranberries on the stove. Best of all, it saves stove space and comes together in minutes.

Ingredients

  • one bag of fresh cranberries
  • the zest of 2 oranges and the juice of 1, about 1/3 cup of juice
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • Optional: add in some fresh de-seeded jalapeño or fresh ginger for a kick

Instructions

  • Place the cranberries, orange zest, orange juice, and sugar in a food processor. Pulse until the mixture starts to come together, then blend on high until it reaches a lightly coarse texture. Scrape down the sides as needed and taste, adjusting sugar to your preference. If using jalapeño or ginger, add a small amount, pulse again, and taste before adding more.
